Some say people don’t care enough about climate change. Psychologist Renee Lertzman says the opposite: people do care but they are anxious and even traumatized in the face of the climate crisis, and so they turn away. Lertzman says that dealing honestly and collectively with these strong feelings can mobilize people into creative, meaningful action for the long term.
